Message From the Finance Officer
The finance function is central to any organization. The strength or weakness of the finance function will mean the difference between failure and success of any entity.
The SEME Technical and Vocational College Finance department derives authority from the TVET Act of 2013.
The department is charged with the responsibility of designing and implementing sound and effective systems for the management of the TVC’s resources.
The Finance Office is headed by the Finance Officer who is responsible to the Principal. The mission of Finance Department is to maintain best practices in implementing sound and effective financial management practices in accordance with the PFMA 2012
Mrs. Lynette Otieno is the Finance Officer of SEME Technical and Vocational College. She is a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) Graduate from the Kisii University. She is a Certified Public Accountants of Kenya Certificate part 2 holder and pursuing the final part of CPA.
Mrs. Otieno comes to SEME TVC with a wealth of experience having served in various Finance positions in the private Sector. She has risen through the ranks, from an Accounts clerk to Accounts Assistant to an Accountant at the Victoria Institute of science and management and finally to the position of Finance Officer at the MAGO Polytechnic.
OUR BANK ACCOUNTS
All payments to the institution are payable to the Kenya Commercial Bank , Account No.1262078237 (Airport Branch) and the banking slips presented to the TVC to facilitate issuance of official receipts. We are also in the process of obtaining an M-pesa Paybill No. The TVC does not accept cash payments!
